Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Opaque ruby, with a black core, this full bodied, full flavoured, Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon shows rich dark fruit, plum, blackcurrant, with refreshing menthol notes. Concentrated dark fruit, plum, and spice on the palate. A beautiful & bold Cabenert Sauvignon that would be a hit when enjoyed with tangy BBQ such as gourmet burgers. 90+ points. Tasted January 2016. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep inky ruyby colour, full-bodied, smooth and balanced acidity. Aromas and flavours of ripe dark fruit, vanilla, blackcurrant leaf, chocolate and warm spices. Lingering warm black fruit finish. Buy now and save for BBQ season - it will please the hungry hamburger crowd.
Tasted: January 2016
Produced by Saltram of Barossa, Pepperjack wines are made using traditional winemaking techniques that respect the Barossa Valley heritage. Plum red in colour in the glass. The wine is aged for 12 moths in oak barrels. Firm tannins. - Community Wine Reviews
