Deep, dark, lovely and rich! This full-bodied beauty is redolent with dark chocolate, espresso and blackberry aromas. Round and deep and ultimately satisfying.

Private Reserve Cabernet Franc food pairings: prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes; herb-crusted rack of lamb; 2-year-old Canadian cheddar with walnuts and fresh bread; grilled beef tenderloin with Cabernet jus and stir-fry of wild mushrooms.

WINE MAKING
? A classic single varietal harvested from the premium vineyards of Niagara.
? Fermented on skins for 14 days to develop colour, flavour and structure (tannin).
? Aged for 12 months using 100% American oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation.

FLAVOUR PROFILE
? Garnet colour with a wonderful, evolving bouquet of sweet cedar and oak, sweet tobacco, black plums, sweet spice, cherry and fig.
? A medium-bodied wine with fruit-forward flavours of juicy black fruits accented by almost sweet notes of oak and spice.
? The soft but firm tannins provide structure and ageability.
? Juicy black fruits and Indian spice linger on the finish.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
