Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Incredible value AND delicious! Loads of jammy black berry fruit, black plum, leather, and anise smack you right in the face. As the wine opens up, it develops a little raisony note. Luscious acidity, a little baking spice heat (alcohol), full body, and smooth tannins. Want to to drink this hearty wine now? Pair with (bison) burgers or BBQ ribs. Thinking fall comfort food? Pair with rack of lamb or a roast! Stock up! At a $15/bottle this wine would surely fly off the shelves!
Produced by winemaker Frederico Falcão, this full-bodied Portuguese red wine is made from grapes grown on the winery's estate farm in the Palmela region from the local variety Castelao. The vines grow in sandy soils and are harvested via traditional methods with a foot treading for pressing and open lager fermentation and oak maturation. The grapes grow on old vines which lends concentration and aging potential to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
