Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A pretty medium purple coloured Shiraz and Grenache blend from Australia’s McLaren Vale region. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, licorice and milk chocolate. Flavours reveal bright red juicy cherry, strawberry and silky tannins. Medium bodied with a fleshy, plummy, dry, fruity finish. A great match for pepper steak or roast pork.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A medium-bodied blend of Shiraz and Grenache from McLaren Vale, Australia. Spice and red berries on the palate. Well-balanced acidity and tannines leading to an herbal (minty) and spicy finish. Decant or age, serve with BBQ.
Great value under $20 on this medium-bodied Shiraz and Grenache red wine blend from Paxton. The wine grapes for AAA 2017 are biodynamically grown. Intense with fresh dark cherry, red berry and spicy flavours on the palate. Drink or hold. Great cellaring candidate. Pair with game roasts, pheasant and duck. - Community Wine Reviews
