Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

There is more to the US wine scene than just the West Coast. Virginia makes killer sparklings with finesse and ageability and the Northeastern border with Canada, near where this wine was made, is developing and building a region with a serious reputation for cool-climate varietals, like Riesling.
There is a lot of flint and vegetal, earthy fern to this wine. Midweight, with a lot of acidity. It might be nice to age this a few more years, so everything can calm down. It has a lot of drive, at this stage.
This is so rare for Ontario! To get a glimpse of a quality level rarely seen from this AVA is just too good to pass up. If you're a wine nerd, you have to give it a whirl.
Put this with pea soup and scallops.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A crisp Riesling with intense petrol, vinyl and white peach aromas. The plate is bone dry with a sort notes of white grapefruit and peach. Overall, a light-bodied simple riesling to enjoy with shrimp spring drizzled with plum sauce. Tasted Dec 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Dry, light bodied. Vinyl, petrol, citrus peel and brine minerality. Two labels, one states 11% and the second states 12.6% ABV. Big acidity, tart. Tasted 2015 vintage in Dec 2017. 86 points.
This is one of the first New York wines we've seen in the market. The Riesling from North Fork Of Long Island (2015) is made with the Riesling wine grape and is 11% abv. Wish I could tell you more, but we did not have the opportunity to taste this wine. - Note from Natalie. - Community Wine Reviews
