Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wine is medium lemon in colour, rich and full bodied, off dry and fresh with a medium intensity aroma of peaches, orange, orange marmelade, honey and white grapefruit. Main tastes were orange, citrus zest and grapefruit. The wine paired wonderfully with savoury orange chicken; the orange in the chicken dish drew out the orange in the wine nicely. This wine is from a single vineyard and is 100% Viognier.
Great value under $15 Viognier from the Paul Mas Estate Vineyards in the Midi Wine Region. Seductive Old World Viognier with white florals, honey and ripe stone fruit aromas on the nose with peach, pear and baking spices flavours on this full-bodied zesty white finishing long with citrus zest on the palate. Made from 100% Viognier from the Nicole Estate in the Pézenas commune of southern France. - Community Wine Reviews
