Papale Linea Oro 2015 is a Primitivo Di Manduria from the Puglia wine region. Produced from hand-harvested grapes and aged in French and American oak. There are layers of blackberry, violet, smoke and anise and spice on the flavoursome Zinfandel. This will be a fine match for grilled steaks or smoked ribs. This vintage was awarded Silver at the 2018 China Wine & Spirits Awards, 2018.

Primitivo di Manduria food pairings: three-sausage pizza, charcuterie, sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Enticing deep chocolate and raisiny notes open on the nose before vegetal hints and hay float up. It is rich and smooth on the palate with hints of chocolate and coffee over dried rich red fruit. A very interesting offering that would pair well with Mexican mole. Very good value. Tasted Nov 15, 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Sweet black plums on the nose and palate of this supple, medium-plus-bodied Zin. This is a turbo-charged red produced from hand-harvested grapes and aged in French and American oak. Papale Linea Oro 2015 is a Primitivo Di Manduria from the Puglia wine region. Pair with grilled, smoky pork long ribs. This vintage was awarded Silver at the 2018 China Wine & Spirits Awards, 2018. - Community Wine Reviews
