Sandy Moore rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

One of my favourite value for money NZ Chardonnay’s.
Palliser Pencarrow 2018 Chardonnay is fragrant with rock melon, mango, lemon zest and vanilla characters aromas, succulent and mouth-filling with ripe apples, melon, tropical fruit and citrus zesty flavours creamy and balanced with refreshing acidity, finishing long on the palate. The Chardonnay grapes for this vintage were sourced from the Om Santi and Clouston vineyards, 70% wild fermented in barrel with occasional lees stirring for added weight and texture. Matured in 20% new French oak barrels for 10 months. - Community Wine Reviews
