Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeously textured wine, with classic blackberry, cherry and rolled tobacco notes. There’s a minerally edge to this wine, with dried herbs and double salt liquorice coming through on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 92 Points.
Palacios Remondo La Montesa Crianza 2015 is a full-bodied Rioja red blend of estate-grown Grenache and Tempranillo (88%/12%). The wine juice was vinified separately and after 35 days of maceration, blended and aged for one year in new and used 90% French and 10% American oak barrels. On the nose, this flavoursome red has black fruit, smoke and dark spices. On the palate, the wine is dry, supple, smooth with lively acidity and ripe cherry, red berry, cake spice, citrus zest and toasty flavours. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with grilled pork tenderloin. - Community Wine Reviews
