From Bodega San Francisco Javier, Palacio De Sada Crianza 2015 is produced from old vines Garnacha with some Cabernet added to the mix. Lots of dark fruit, plum, dark cherry, savoury spice and smoky, toasty oak spice flavours on this deep, dark and tannic red wine with a firm grip. Produced from 40-plus year old vines from the Navarra wine region. Decant two hours prior to pouring it with rich game dishes.

Crianza food pairings: barbecued meats, stews featuring beef and root veggies.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Bodegas de Sala, located in the Navarra region of Spain, the Palacio de Sada Crianza 2015 shows aromas of cherry, dried strawberry, orange peel, black tea, leather and vanilla. Made from Garnacha and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine has structure and volume, a medium body with spice and supple tannins. Its finish is short and savory. Palate: tart cherry, roasted plum, lavender, pink grapefruit, leather and dark chocolate. Enjoy.
