Reviews and Ratings

Created in 1882, this négociant house that has passed from father to son for five generations stands out in this vintage with ... three stars for the Morgon which the jury found to be wonderful. Its superb range of aromas reveals astonishing complexity with hints of overripe black fruit, grape marc, plum and licorice evolving to the core. The attack is smooth and silky which then blossoms into a powerful and harmonious palate that leaves a final impression of richness and smoothness. Showing excellent ripeness, this magnificent representative of terroir will evolve for four to five years. Score: 3 (out of 3) Source: Guide Hachette

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
