This 100% Pinot Noir rosé is fragrant with cherry and strawberry fruit aromas on the nose. Medium-bodied with vibrant juicy red berry, cherry fruit and light herb flavours on the palate. Vibrant acidity for food. Pair with grilled chicken breast and lamb kebabs. Tannins are fine. The PN wine grapes for this rosé were sourced from the Wairau Valley.

Food pairings: grilled lamb lollipops, chicken kebabs, vegetable kebabs.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A good wine for new drinkers to enjoy, as the flavours are not overwhelmingly challenging: Strawberry notes, juicy in style complimented by a medium acidity and body. I recommend to drink this wine very cold to get the most out of its freshness. Enjoyable.
Love this South Island medium-bodied Pinot Noir Rosé from Oyster Bay. Dry and juicy with fresh ripe cherry, strawberry and light herb flavours on the palate. Fantastic acidity for food. Pair with BBQ salmon, salads, charcuterie or grilled pork kebabs. Very versatile, fresh and tasty. - Community Wine Reviews
