Savoury and tasty with dark red spicy fruit in this AC red wine. Full-bodied, juicy and smooth. Good value. A terrific, long, dry finish that leaves you longing for more.

Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The 2009 Cave De Rasteau Ortas Prestige Rasteau, composed of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, has intense aromas of yogurty strawberry and raspberry on the nose and cranberry, strawberry, raspberry, oak and vanilla on the palate. It is a medium to full bodied, extra-dry, fruity to integrated wine; with good acidity, grippy and dusty tannins (decant for 30+ min) and a medium to long finish. This is a food friendly and a sipping wine; it will benefit from cellaring (+1 evolution potential) – drink now – 2022. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 90 (+1) pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted Mar/14
