Lots of acidity with lemon zest in this southern French white wine from JeanJean. Light-bodied and mouth-watering. Pair with light seafood dishes.

Picpoul De Pinet food pairings: pasta with cream sauce, white meats, salads, French onion soup, duck rillettes with apricot purée.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Ripe lemons, light bodied and bursting with a mouth-watering acidity. Nicely paired with seafood appetizers.
The vineyard lies just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean sea. The wine is made from a single grape variety: Piquepoul. This wine won a Gold Medal in the 2014 Concours Général Agricole wine competition in Paris. This is a Cru Coteaux du Languedoc wine, and is made from the ancient grape Picpoul Blanc, which translates to "lip-stinger" referring to the grape's high acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
