Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Bodegas Virgen de la Sierra, Ogv 2016 is produced from Old Grenache Vines between 70 and 100 years of age from the Calatayud wine region. The Coop is more than 100 years old. and vineyard holdings have grown to more than 700 hectares. Wine grapes are sustainably-farmed with minimal interference and intervention in making the wine practices at the winery. Grapes are harvested and sorted by hand and growers are paid based on the quality of their grapes, not on quantity. Aromas of toast, blueberry jam, mocha and espresso on the nose, juicy blueberry, red berry, baking spices, vanilla and mocha flavours smooth and supple on the palate. Tannins are structured, lending even more body to the wine.- Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
