Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From Lake County, northern California, a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot and Malbec rounding it out. Dark fruit aromas and cherry, plum and spicy notes on the palate. High tannins, with a long, sweet candied finish. Decant or age further. Pair with barbequed red meats. Tasted February 2020.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is big and bold with complex layers of black fruit, black licorice and hints of cedar . Rich with generous sweet fruit and a long finish but needs time to integrate. Best from 2022-2030. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Red Hills, Lake County, California, Obsidian Ridge Estate Obsidian Ridge Vineyard 2017 is a rich Cabernet Sauvignon with some Petit Verdot and Malbec added for colour and rounding. Love the wild thyme, lavender and pepper spice aromas on the nose. Look for ripe and juicy dark cherry, blueberry, dark plum and pepper spice flavours supple on the palate. Pair with grilled gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
