Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I'm a big fan of O.Fournier wines, and this one is not different. The last time I picked up a bottle of this was the '06 vintage, and it has become a lot more serious. There's lovely black cherry, black plum, blueberry, grilled herb, cool spice, and crushed minerals on the nose and palate. There's a smokiness that emerges on the finish. 91 Points.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Intense nose of blueberry preserve, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, and violet. Pleasant structure with medium tannins, good acidity, and a full body of 15% ABV. Ripe dark fruits and minerality on the palate. Drinking well now, should hold nicely for another five years. Perfect for roasted lamb and grilled meats.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Garnet coloured. This is a pleasant unassuming, medium bodied, well blended red. Nicely balanced. Tannins are dusty and chalky on the finish. Perfect to go with tapas. Tasted April 2019.
Produced by O. Fourneir, Urban Ribera 2015 is a great value Tinta Del País from the Ribera Del Duero Wine Region. Fresh with black cherry, anise, fresh herb flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
