Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

I tasted this wine at wine club on March 15th 2017. Clear ruby red colour. On the nose dark fruit and spice notes. On the palate cherry, and raw chocolate sticks with a chalky mouth feel. Tannins were very soft. The wine had a nice medium finish. This wine came out on top against the Carmenere, probably because it had more pronounced aromas and taste. The $30 price tag may be a little steep. But I do not think the wine will disappoint.
Ninquén (nin-ken) translates to 'Plateau on a Mountain' in the native tongue and refers to the geographic mountain estate. This ois made form 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that are hand-picked at an altitude of 305 meters above sea level. The wine is matured for 22 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
