A lovely yeasty, freshly baked bread note on the nose of this vibrant, beautifully balanced Austrian white wine made from the country's iconic Gruner Veltliner grape. Fresh, racy acidity to take on seafood and shellfish as well as vegetarian dishes. This wine is Demeter certified, and is made using biodynamic farming principles which go well beyond organic methods to respect the earth and the people making this wine. Highly recommended.

Grüner Veltliner food pairings: asparagus salad with spring greens, grilled halibut, pan-fried perch.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A crisp and clean Gruner Veltliner from Nikolaihof. Organically grown with elements of green apple, light citrus and pear. Light bodied, dry and refreshing. Try this with a mixed spring green salad and scallops.
This is a lovely, baked bread kind of a Gruner Veltliner. Still fresh with a zesty acidity, this wine is Demeter certified employing biodynamic farming practices in making this wine. - Community Wine Reviews
