Lovely! Rich and layered yet not heavy. Fleshy cherries that you want to put your arm into up the shoulder then just move your fingers slowly. Black kirsch aromas on the finish, some oak and ultra supple.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A great Pinot for those are known to not be lovers of Pinot. Earth, forest floor, cranberry, ripe fleshy cherries. Gorgeous, medium bodied, garnet, medium plus acidity. Para well with a gourmet charcuterie platter. Tasted 2012 vintage in April 2019. Well balanced, integrated. 91 points
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Clear ruby color.

Aromas of cherry, oak, leather, smoke, plum and flower.

This wine is almost complex, smooth, medium-bodied and long.

Excellent to match grilled white meat.

Serve it at 15-16 degrees.

Ready to drink but can be aged 2-3 years.
The cool climate of Walker Bay in South Africa fosters magnificent Pinot Noir with great balance, elegance and refreshment. - Community Wine Reviews
