Natalie's Score: 91/100

Fresh and crisp with aromas of chives, lime zest, lemongrass and smoke. Medium-bodied with racy acidity on the palate for seafood, salads and shellfish. This Californian white wine is made from grapes grown in the warmer sub-appellations of Napa Valley: Rutherford, Yountville and Saint Helena. The capable winemaker is Joe Shirley who suggests pairing his wine with crispy fish tacos, grilled asparagus or bluff oysters with dill and lime vinaigrette.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: beer battered haddock and chips, vegetarian dishes, Thai green curry fish, fresh oysters.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very aromatic, with lots of white pepper, pineapple, grapefruit, and minerality. The taste is pineapple and lemon with a few tropical fruit notes added. A nice complement to a Caesar salad.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lime, minerality, grapefruit and tropical fruit on the nose with grapefruit pith and high acid on the palate. Nice balance with a crisp finish. Would be a perfect seafood wine or bbq chicken ceasar salad.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This crisp pale yellow Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of citrus, green grass and chives. Flavours of lime, green apple and melon round out the cleanness. This would be delicious paired with fish tacos.
Carola Price rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light gold and bright. Nose of sweat socks, hay, pineapple, apple blossom. Crisp acidity and some stone fruit and grassy flavours. Medium long finish with gripping acidity at the front of the mouth. This food friendly wine will pair with spicy fish (Thai or Vietnamese), Jerk chicken with plantains, Swiss cheese souflee and Spanish style shrimp in garlic and chilies. Drink now
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Napa Valley white with armoas of white grapefruit & lemongrass with the flavours following through on the palate. Crisp, clean, mouthwatering and medium bodied with a medium citrus finish. Will pair well with green vegetables and shellfish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

looking for a brilliant pale straw, Sauvignon Blanc with vibrant acidity and typicity. Well balanced fruit with structure, medium finish with persistence of lime zest, lemongrass. Pairs well with citrus drizzled Summer salads, banana leaf braised white fish, or fish tacos. @jonsteeves rated 88/100 - tasted May 2016
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, with tart, lemony acidity. Citrus flavours dominate, with sweet, dried mango. Unoaked, with a light, linear structure. Pleasant.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Lingering medicinal note on the nose of this wine along with lemon, acacia blossoms, and herbaceous notes. A medium-bodied, medium-high acidity number that displays this crisp lemon quality. I would serve with panko covered baked tilapia and green beans.
