Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Blackberry jam and some floral notes on the nose with blackberry, earth and dried spice on the palate. Well balanced with a soft finish. Would pair well with grilled steak.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Blackberry, plum, vanilla bean and chocolate on the nose. Medium-full body with medium tannins, blackberry jam and cocoa on the finish. Pair with braised beef or grilled burgers. Tasted August, 2016.
Carola Price rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A nose of cassis, plum and acacia wood and ever so slightly floral. In the mouth a smooth and balanced black fruit and cedar flavour. Medium bodied with a long finish. Well made and a great wine for New World Merlot fans. Pair with gourmet burgers, roast beef and gooey cheeses. Drink now to 5 years
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark plum, vanilla, and a touch of blueberry and spice. Rich, medium-full bodied with some nicely rounded tannins. The flavour is mainly plum and raspberry, with medium-high acidity. Medium tart plum finish.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Very fruit driven wine, with lots of body, potent alcohol and a velvetty smooth structure. Over ripe plum, dark cherry and cassis notes feature on the nose and palate. The fnish is lifted by a hint of menthol. The toasty, cedar scented oak frames the palate well. Sure to please lovers of big, bold, fruity Napa reds.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Dark fruit, alcohol, and eucalyptus nose. With juicy plums and spicey blueberry mouth. Longish dry finish.
From Napa Cellars is a rich, full-bodied Merlot. Ripe plum, blackberry, blueberry and dark chocolate are on the nose and palate. I see a roast of pork with roasted garlic potatoes and steamed, chived French green beans in this wine's future. Drink now and for the next couple of years. - Community Wine Reviews
