Sweet cherry pie on the nose and palate of this lovely BC Pinot Noir. Wild ferment 50% and aged 16 months in French oak barrels. Luscious and juicy and full-bodied with a satin texture. Perfect for grilled chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Julian Park rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The initial cold extraction has delivered a medium to heavy bodied Pinot. The fermentation was started with wild yeast (Rob loves to gamble) with cultured Burgundy yeast added halfway through. The wine has a hint of violets on the nose together with a Burgundian“forest floor” aromas. On the palate, intense flavours of cherries. To me, it is more reminiscent of the Santa Barbara style wines. This is a first-class Pinot and will sell out fast.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine has a great balance of tartness and smoothness. Lots of cherry and earthy notes on the nose with the slightest bit of barnyard funk. Vibrant on the palate, that cherry rings through with some nice acidity and some light tannin complemented with some smoky and spicy notes. Enjoy this wine with duck done in 5-spice, or grilled pork.
