Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

This very rare Champagne is made of 100% Arbane old vines grape.

Arbane is an old forgotten white grape since a long time.

About one hectare grow in Champagne.

Only 3525 bottles were made of the vintage 2005.

This Champagne was disgorged March 9th 2010

MOUTARD PÈRE ET FILS was the only estate to grow Arbane old vines.
But now i heard that AGRAPART ET FILS ESTATE has made a Champagne made of Arbane in 2013.

MOUTARD also grow vines in Burgundy to make Crément de Bourgogne and Chablis.

Golden Yellow color!

The aromas of this Champagne is very different of the other Champagne.
That's a very floral and herbaceous nose.

This Champagne is very well balanced on the palate.

Serve this rare Champagne at 5-6 degrees.

Pair it with a Salmon Gravlax or lobster.

This wine is ready to drink but can be age 2-3 years.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
