Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The Montgras winery, located in Chile, has always been a synonym of professional and quality winemaking. The Montgras Limited Edition 2015, made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmenere and 15% Syrah, provides a pleasant and excellent wine experience. Aromas of black cherry, black plum, black pepper, clay dust, coffee, leather and oak. Solid structure and balance, this medium-bodied wine will charm with its long and dark fruit finish. Flavors of blackberry, dark skin plum, dried herbs, black pepper, tobacco, leather and oak will satisfy any Chilean wine lover. Enjoy!
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An interesting Chilean red blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenee, and Syrah. Very floral nose leading with violet and rose. There is a little pepper and spice from the Carm. Plenty of fresh black fruit aromas, especially plum and black cherry. Palate shows cocoa and ripe dark fruit with soft, round tannins and good acidity. A neat blend and a nice wine that will pair well with grilled beef or pork chop dishes.
A well-priced, medium-bodied red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Syrah sourced from the Colchagua Valley, Montgras 25th Anniversary Limited Edition 2015 is very approachable now with dark berry, red cherry and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are supple tannins body. Enjoy now with gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
