Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A polished new world Pinot Noir with a core of pure cherry fruit surrounded by spice and a touch of leather. Should evolve nicely. A bit of warmth from 14% but that can be balanced nicely with a pork tenderloin.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is zesty Pinot Noir featuring cherry, raspberry, red plum, vanilla, crushed roses, herbs, and a hit of citrus zest. Pretty dynamic stuff. 91 Points.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A tart cool climate Chilean Pinot Noir, garnet, dry chalky, racy acidity. Long finish with persistence of black cherry, liquorice root, strawberry. Pairs well with rack of lamb and roasted vegetables. Tasted 2015 vintage in November 2018. 90 points
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Montes Pinot is sourced from their Zapallar vineyard in Aconcagua. It is just gorgeous in the glass.
A beautiful, vibrant ruby-red.
Aconcagua has a lot of hot soils. Sand and decomposing granite bestows this wine with a nice minerality and ripeness.
Aromas of rosehip, cherry coulis, dried herbs, and red plum.
Flavours of red plum and cherry-jam. Raspberry, clove, orange, and soft tannins.
A great Pinot to pair with tourtiere. Very pleasant and with decent complexity.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fruity with cherry and strawberry. Tart cherries on the palate, easy tannins. Slightly earthy. Nice finish
Montes Outer Limits 2015 is a full-bodied Pinot Noir with ripe red berries and a minty on the palate. from the outer limits of the Zapallar Coast. Great acidity on this wine made for food. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
