Natalie's Score: 91/100

Clean, crisp and fresh Spanish white wine made from the country's iconic white grape AlbariƱo. Aromas of lemon zest and grapefruit. It's also quite lovely on it's own as an aperitif, especially with low alcohol of just 12.5%. Racy acidity makes this medium-bodied wine a perfectc pairing for seafood and shellfish, which is customary in the Galicia region.

Albarino food pairings: Indian, Mexican and Pad Thai cuisine, chicken Tikka Masala, Pad Thai, tacos, seafood, clams, oysters.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Crisp and great for fresh seafood. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon-lime and some stony minerality. Bright acidity, dry, and a bit rich or viscous on the palate, with some mineral notes and a slightly salty hint on the finish. Enjoy with oysters.
Very elegant nose, with wine avours such as jasmine and orange blossom followed by notes of sweet apple and dried herbs with a saline background. In the mouth it is rich and full of flavour, with a glycerine texture. It is marked by lively acidity that envelopes the notes of flowers and citrus mixed with aromatic herbs. Full-bodied, long and balanced.
