Vintages Wine Panel: Sourced from Central Otago, one of the mostly southerly wine-growing regions on the planet, this Pinot Noir is medium ruby in color: actually quite deeply hued for the variety. A bouquet of sweet raspberry, ripe cherry, and freshly tilled earth floods the senses, leading to aroma replays on the smooth, silky-textured palate. Great length and balance add to the wine’s considerable charms. My note: Opens with cherry, red currant and smoky raspberry, followed my mouth-filling, velvet layers of ripe red berries on the palate. Medium-bodied and extremely seductive. The vibrant, zesty acidity makes for a wonderful food companion.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled steak, roast beef sandwich, turkey with traditional trimmings.
