A stunningly gorgeous Old World Pinot Noir at a steal of a price for Burgundy. Holy smokes! Fleshy ripe cherry aromas and flavours with just enough juicy acidity for a wide range of dishes from turkey to salmon. Lovely long finish. Don't buy it all before I get to the store please.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Classic Bourgogne for $25!!! That's A steal! Yummy tart cranberry, tart cherry, some dried herbs and hint of white peppercorn flavours. The acidity is fantastic (for me, that means Pinot with extra high mouthwatering acidity)! Light to no tannins, light bodied and a tangy cranberry finish. Try pairing with grilled coffee-rubbed port tenderloin.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Opened in Fall 2020, this creation from France’s Bourgogne appellation matured nicely. This pleasing pinot noir showed aromas and flavours evocative of red fruit – particularly cherry and raspberry – dried spices and soft cedar. Grippy, velvety tannins and a long fruit-centric finish occupied the spot-light on the medium bodied palate but they seemed to suggest this vintage’s time in the limelight is drawing to a close. Drink now. Enjoy.

An incredible price for classic, balanced Old World Pinot Noir. This Burgundian red wine features aromas of dark berries and a wisp of smoke. Pair with salmon. - Community Wine Reviews
