Love this elegant Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2018 from the Black Sage Bench in the Okanagan wine region. Grassy, with fine lemon, fine herb, white florals and mineral flavours balanced and finishing long on the palate. Aged six months in French oak barrels and then stainless-steel tank. Pair with pan-fried pickerel.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled salmon with herb butter, green salads with goat cheese, freshly steamed shrimp with salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Excellent balance and freshness on this Reserve Sauvignon Blanc from Misson Hill Family Estate wines. Fresh and fragrant on the nose with grassy, gooseberry, passion fruit, guava and stony mineral aromas, this Okanagan Valley Sauvignon Blanc is dry, beautifully balanced with pink grapefruit, lemongrass, dill, chive, honeydew melon, lime-lemon zest, white pepper with a mouth-wateringly long finish. So good! Highly recommended. Tasted October 2020.
Mission Hill Reserve 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a smooth and zesty B.C. V.Q.A. Sauvignon Blanc from the iconic Mission Hill Winery in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. Grapes are sourced from the Black Sage Bench and a portion of the wine was fermented in French oak barrel. Elegant with lemongrass, pink grapefruit, fine herb, soft tropical fruit and mineral flavours, harmoniously balanced on the palate. Simply delicious and a great value B.C. SB. Pair with herbed goat cheese on baguette, salads, grilled fish. - Community Wine Reviews
