Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Silky and elegant! Mission Hill Reserve Rosé 2022 is a super fresh and refined rosé blend of 63% Pinot Noir, 23% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc with elevage and ageing mostly in stainless-steel tank to retain the wine’s crisp, fresh acidity, florals and bright fruity flavours with a portion (7%) aged in neutral French oak barrels giving the wine a lovely mouth feel and roundness on the palate.

Pretty in a delicate pink hue and very enticing in the glass, the wine is dry, crisp, medium-bodied and vibrant with bright red berry, cranberry, strawberry, watermelon and rhubarb aromas on the nose with a kiss of dried fine herbs on the palate. Very summery, Provence-ish and polished. Chill and enjoy on its own or pour with green salads topped with freshly steamed and chilled freshwater shrimp. Taste May 2023.
