Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas of red berry, plum, cedar and smoke. Smooth and full bodied, with more peppery spice on the finish. Enjoy this with a nice prime rib roast.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep purple , full bodied, dry, balanced wine! Pronounced aroma of juicy black fruit; black plum and blackberry; plus some vanilla, spicy peppery and a herbal note. Juicy black fruit with spice and vanilla repeated on the palate. Very nice paired with beef stew with strong peppery note. This would also be a very pleasant solo sipper. Nice long finish of juicy black fruit!
Produced by Mission Hill Winery in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Mission Hill Reserve 2016 is a savoury 100% Merlot rich on the nose with smoky blackberry, dark plum, cedar spice and toasty oak flavours on the palate. Nice now and for the next five years. Pair with a crown roast of pork. - Community Wine Reviews
