Good value for Pinot Noir, which tends to be more expensive. Balanced acidity and wild blackberry flavour in this blend of five vineyards. Finishes with aromas of anise, toasted oak, black cherry and tea in this full-bodied BC red wine.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled wild salmon, Portobello mushrooms, roasted duck or pork, olive bread, or toasted walnuts.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Brilliant ruby red, the 2014 vintage Mission Hill Pinot Noir is approachable and offers great value. Mouthwatering acidity, medium tannins, juicy tart red field berry and juicy cherry with notes of savoury herb. Paired well with Bison sausage, authentic Italian Salumi platter, Mediterranean antipasti. Tasted Dec 2016. Rated 89/100.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

[Unexpected] deep ruby appearance with moderate cherry, earthy underbrush and allspice aromas. The palate is trending off-dry with dominant ripe red cherry and plum notes and a long minty/black licorice note. Enjoy this medium bodied Pinot with gamey stews and braises. Tasted Dec 2016 - @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca
