Price: $46.95

Drink: 2017-2019

Bottle size: 1500 ml

Alcohol: 13%

Sweetness: Extra Dry

Wine Type: Rosés

Winery: Miraval

Agent: Charton Hobbs Inc

Natalie's Score: 92/100

This is the magnum size of the popular rose, equivalent to two regular 750 ml bottles. Originally owned by Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie, I'm not sure if either one took custody of the winery or if they sold it. Regardless, the wine is still made by the Perrin family. Medium-bodied, dry with notes of field berries. Pair with grilled chicken.

Rosé food pairings: planked salmon, pate, roast chicken, roast breast of veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Dean Engemoen rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Light floral and fruity notes, delicate berries and a touch of spice. Flavors include blood orange, ruby red grapefruit, with a hint of strawberry and meyer lemon. Very traditional Provence rosé.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Continues to impress, and let's be honest, with a 1.5L format, it literally is party time. This wine features tons of primary red fruit, rhubarb, and some citrus blossom. Fresh, tangy, and ready to go with pretty much anything. 90 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
This is a magnum-size rosé from the Côtes De Provence. Miraval (2016) is produced by the iconic wine family of Perrin. The blend is Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah -- consistently elegant and refreshing. - Community Wine Reviews
