An excellent value for Californian Pinot Noir, which is usually three times this price as it's so difficult to grow. Medium-bodied, smooth and mouth-watering with attractive notes of tart field berries. Pair with roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Shelley Harris rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A light-bodied red with cherry and spice aromas and taste. This wine would pair well with a vegetarian lasagna, filled with spinach and ricotta cheese and a rich tomato sauce full of oregano and basil leaves, garlic and a dash of red pepper flakes.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Pinot Noir in a Californian style, with big aromas of red cherry, baking spices and violets. The taste is a bit more refined with cherry, vanilla, and a touch of the violet coming through. The mouth-feel is quite silky. This is a Pinot Noirt for someone looking to branch out from big Cabs and Zinfandels.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A light and flavourful Pinot Noir that is a great value. Fresh aromas of strawberry and raspberry, with an undertone of vanilla and caramel. Berry flavours come through on the palate with a smooth, spicy oak. Short to medium finish. A great wine to sip on its own or pair with duck or pork.

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Soft and supple, this is a value Pinot that's light on the pocketbook. Hints of cherry and a touch of oak with a short smooth finish. Sip on the deck or serve with a grilled pork tenderloin glazed with a cranberry sauce.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aroma of sour cherry and violet, and a mouthful of California sunshine. A nice mouthwatering and fruit forward wine at an affordable price. The alcohol does come through at the end as a little heavy, so pair with some food. A pasta bolognese would be lovely
