Incredible texture and mouth-feel on this luscious Spanish red wine. That's what the Tempranillo grape delivers consistently. Aromas of dark red fruit and some dark spice. Perfect for grilled or blackened chicken.

Tempranillo food pairings: red meats, creamy cheeses, traditional paellas.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe dark cherries and cassis with vanilla on the nose. Palate adds leather and a smooth mouthfeel. Ripe cherry finish.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Intriguing ripe black fruit and smoke. Black plum, black cherry, dark chocolate, smokey, a little mocha and mint flavours. Nicely integrated acidity, medium to full bodied and luscious black cherry mint finish. This wine would pair nicely with grilled coffee rubbed porked tenderloin.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cassis, tobacco and cigar box lead to a more fruit-forward taste with bright, ripe raspberries being added to the mix. Medium+ acidity and grippy tannins add structure. The finish is medium tannic cassis and raspberry. A nice burger wine at a nice price.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Plum and vanilla notes with some cassis on the palate. Very smooth and easy drinking wine.
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Deep red in colour, this Tempranillo has aromas of plum and cherries. Bold ripe cherry with hints of vanilla on the palate. Slightly heavy finish this wine would pair well with grilled beef or game.

Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Nice leather, tobacco and sweet oranges nose. Then a bit of bacon in maple syrup! This is a juicy, fresh, fruity pleasant everyday «Honey,i'm home!» kind of wine. Not shy,but not vulgar, it begs a good steak.
