Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Elegant and perfumed nose consisting of blackberry, blueberry, plum, smoky cocoa, and sandalwood. The intense ruby red colour reflects the concentration on the palate. Plenty of ripe dark fruit with accents of oak. Strong tannins and acidity matching a full body of 14.5% ABV. Tight without breathing, certainly ageworthy. Lay down for one to three years before serving with grilled meats.
Michael David's Freakshow 2015 is a full-bodied, big and spicy Cabernet Sauvignon with grapes sourced from the Lodi wine region in California. Look for lots of ripe dark fruit, cherry and blackberry flavours and a toasty oak finish on this smoky red with fine-grained tannins. Pair with Mexican Mole. - Community Wine Reviews
