Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bright, crisp, and refreshing. Lots of grapefruit and lime on the nose and palate. A bit of a herbaceous note on the nose that provides a nice freshness. Dry, would be a great complement to seafood, or other light, spring dishes.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Very pale straw in colour with aromas of lemon, white grapefruit and green apple, It is light bodied with mouthwatering acidity and green apple and cirtus flavours. Crisp, clean and refreshing, it will pair nicely with salads or seafood. Tasted on March 11, 2018.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aromas of grass and lemon. Medium- to full-bodied with lots of sour notes of lemon, white grapefruit.

This crisp wine would pair well with seafood.

Tasted March 13, 2018.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

A yin-yang Italian.…
Presentation: A Medieval Greek-looking label (ironically for an Italian wine), though the blue and black foil-top is a nice touch
Appearance: Pale lemon
Nose: Medium nose with notes of tropical fruit, minerals (chalk), citrus (lemon) and honey
Taste: Dry, full body, high acidity, low tannins, with notes of lemon and lemon rind, soapy perfume, chalk
Finish: long, bitter mineral and almond finish
Overall impression: This is a yin-yang wine for us, with its sweet and mineral nose, yet bitter, almost harsh finish. It could seduce you with its nose, but make sure to pair it with some antipasti or other salty foods to tame its back end.
Value: 3.5/5
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Fresh and crisp nod to spring.
Green apple and hints of basil on the nose carry through to a crisp apple mouth and tangy lime finish.
Wonderful with goat cheese salads.
Tasted March 2018. B
