Mymi Thesingingsommelier - Sommelier, FWS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Samuel McWilliam, of irish descent, purchased land at the northern edge of Corowa and planted his first vines on the property in 1877. By the time he retired in 1891, he had built the foundation of a winery that would span over 135 years, passing through generations of his family.
In recent years, McWilliam’s has continued to grow in popularity and stature, while always retaining the vision and knowledge imparted by the founders.
Today, the family mantle is carried by sixth generation winemaker Scott McWilliam who stays true to the family’s winemaking philosophy which centres on sourcing quality fruit and creating wines that balance elegance and power.
The fruit for this wine is sourced from various vineyards that range in altitude from 800 to 500 metres above sea level in the region of the Tumbarumba in New South Wales.
In the glass, it is a very pale yellow with silver hues.
On the nose, it boasts aromas of fresh lemon, a little grass, melted butter and wet stone.
On the palate, it is rich and yummy! The new oak is perfectly integrated allowing you to enjoy this beautiful Chardonnay. Zesty acidity and a generous fruity finish.
It is a perfect example of a cool climate Chardonnay!
Enjoy on its own or with a crispy fish cakes and a lovely garlicky aioli!
The Chardonnay grapes for this robust Australian white wine grow in high altitude vineyards between 500 and 800 metres above sea level. The wine's juice is cold-settled before the vintner allows the wine to ferment in French oak barrels, of which 15% is new. He uses a blend of wild and cultured yeasts and stirs the lees to add fullness to the wine. - Community Wine Reviews
