Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Delightful aromas and flavors orchard apple, butter, vanilla and subtle spice. Great value in this vintage from a well known and widely respected producer.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A flavourful and exquisite Californian Chardonnay from McManis Vineyards. Notes of poached pears, buttered honey and sunny herbal touches. Flavours reflect much of the same with traditional elements of banana peels, golden apples and hints of pineapple. Oak was very soft, and restrained offering essences of slivered almonds. Spicy finish. Pair with butter seared scallops and shrimp. 90 points - tasted November 2018
Mcmanis (2016) is a well-priced, medium-bodied Chardonnay from River Junction in California. The AVA of River Junction sits between San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties. Love the ripe peaches and florals on the nose with buttered toast, ripe stone fruit flavours balanced by an easy acidity (the wine is only 13.5% abv) on the palate. So easy to enjoy. This winery is Certified Sustainable, practicing farming and winemaking methods that have a lower impact on the environment. - Community Wine Reviews
