Juicy and full-bodied Italian red wine with lots of wild black cherry notes, some smoke and mocha. Savoury and meaty with a long finish. The Mazzei family have been the owners of this Italian winery, Castello di Fonterutoli, since 1435. The 2010 vintage of the Chianti Classico Riserva Ser Lapo offers black fruit aromas and firm tannins. Decant 2 hours for maximum pleasure. Pair with grilled meats.

Chianti Classico Riserva food pairings: ravioli, beef stew, pizza, pork chops.
