Reviews and Ratings

Pam Hatton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful pale yellow and classic perfumed Mosel nose with floral, peach and petrol. Spritzy acidity carries the off dry palate of citrus, peach and stone fruit. Long juicy finish.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Noticeably sweet with peach and apricot on the palate. If you a fan of sweeter Rieslings this one is for you. Would be highly quaffable on its own or pair with Asian crab or shrimp dishes. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From the Mosel Max Ferd. Richter Elisenberger 2016 Riesling Kabinett Prädikatswein is produced from Riesling wine grapes grown in slate soils. From the first whiff, there are flinty, mineral aromas on the nose and then it begins to open up with ripe peach, melon, grapefruit and light herbs on the nose. Creamy, spicy and juicy on the palate, refreshing with mouth-watering acidity to balanced sweetness. Enjoy with roast duck. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
