Candied strawberry on the nose, but dry on the palate. Aromas of wild berries and some spice. Pretty, with some rose petal notes. Made from Refosco grapes grown on the estate's property. A small proportion are dried using the Appassimento method to concentrate the wine's acidity and freshness.

Rosé food pairings: Margherita pizza, salad, pork, strong cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A Rosato delle Venezie, made using lightly semi-dried grapes( leggero Appassimento) from Refosco grapes. Lovely light pink with fresh aromas of cherry and peach. The palate shows delightful bright peach and cherry. Dry with good acidity-very summery.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful blush pink summer sipper. Floral notes dominate the aromas. The palate is light-bodied and fruity (but dry) with a crisp and refreshing acidity. This Italian rosé is was made with partially dried Refosco grapes, which really adds to the structure of this wine. Enjoy with a salumi platter and olive tapenades. Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pretty in pink - lovely nose, field berries and a hint of sweetness. The palate is dry with lots of peach, raspberry and cherry notes - great acidity - perfect for patio sipping and Summer salads.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 86/100
A lovely coral colour in the glass with candied strawberries on the nose, fresh red berries and sweet spice on the palate. A portion of the Refosco grapes in this wine were partially dried (Appassimento method) to concentrate the wine's flavours. There is a refreshing acidity on this wine which finishes long with fresh red berries. Excellent with shellfish, seafood or pair with Prosciutto. - Community Wine Reviews
