A gorgeously dark rich robe of deep purple and violet in the glass. This robust Italian red wine offers aromas of ripe blackberry, black plum, dark spice, mocha and dark chocolate. This is the convenient half bottle size. Pair with a pepper steak.

Smooth, rich, ripe field berries, ripe cherry, layered over baking spices, savoury herb. The 2012 vintage pairs well with braised beef lasagna, and equally well with pulled pork tacos. Medium plus body, medium acidity. Tasted 2012 vintage in Feb 2018 after decanting 2h. 92 points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Rich and robust. Aromas including ripe berry, dates, dried herbs, and warm spice. Full bodied, smooth and moderate acidity. Nice balance of ripe and dried fruit on the palate with warm spicy notes on the finish. Enjoy with braised beef dishes.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Absolutely amazing! Typicity and quality vintage after vintage. This Amarone starts out with of dried fruit, sweet spice and savoury aromas followed by a taste of dried dates, raisins, anise and dried herbs. The palate is rich, full-bodied and satiny smooth. There is not need cellar this Amarone, they are bottle to be consumed within a day of being purchased. Enjoy with anything! I had mine glass with vegetable somosas. Tasted Feb 2018 by @sommsosa
