Natalie's Score: 89/100

Savoury and dark with big black fruit, smoke and meaty notes. A heart of darkness runs through this rich, deep, full-bodied wine. This wine is blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes, from a region you should put on your radar. This is an incredible price.

Food pairings: vegetarian pizza, ham and asparagus quiche, rabbit fricassee.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of dark fruit, smoke, dried violets, cassis and a subtle gaminess on the nose. A blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes this wine is full bodied and well rounded. The palate is full of dark fruit flavors and spiciness with a racey acidity, lingering dark berry finish.
Produced by Cyril Marès, Mas Des Bressades Cuvée Tradition (2015) is a Grenache-based red wine from the Costières De Nîmes in the Rhône wine region. On the palate there is savoury herbs, lavender, ripe cherry finishing with a good length and a bit of pepper on the palate. Very well done. Pair with roast lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
