Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is a vibrant Meritage blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, each variety was aged in French, American, and Hungarian oak for 20 months, and then blended together. Aromas of currant, blueberry and mocha, along with tobacco smoke and a touch of leather. Full bodied with bold acidty, and firm tannins. Berry notes are rich on the palate, spicy, woody, and leather hints mingle nicely. Finish is lengthy. Be sure to decant for an hour before serving and serve with prime rib.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
