From the Rhône Valley wine region, a medium-bodied, mouth-watering and bone-dry rosé blend of Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Syrah wine grapes showing bright red fruit, fresh cherry, raspberry and orange zest flavours on the palate. So tasty and great value as well.

Tavel Rosé food pairings: baked ham, cedar-planked salmon, seared tuna.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

An all-time favourite Rosé from France’s Tavel appellation. Bone-dry, gorgeous bright coral colour with appetizing wild strawberry, melon and slight garrique aromas. Medium-bodied and strongly herbal – lavender & garrique - on palate with mouthwatering acidity. Lingering finish with notes of garrique and strawberries. An absolutely ideal Rosé which will suit a wide variety of foods; black olive tapenade, goat cheese, smoked fish, charcuterie or Mediterranean Ratatouille. Enjoy on your patio and dream of the French Riviera or cafes in Provence…
Tasted Sept. 9/19
Marquis D'aqueria 2018 is a bright and juicy Tavel rosé wine blend of Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault and Mourvèdre from the Rhône wine region. Bone-dry, medium-bodied and elegant with bright, intense red berry, strawberry and melon flavours on the palate. Chill and pair it with sausage cassoulet or smoked meat and cheese. - Community Wine Reviews
