An Austrian classic Gruner Veltliner. Fragrant with lemon, lime zest and herbal aromas on the nose. Juicy, mouth watering on the palate with Meyers lemon, green herb and lemon grass and a smatter of pepper spice flavours on the palate. Pair with seafood dishes.

Grüner Veltliner food pairings: arugula and spinach salad topped with warm herbed goat cheese, grilled chicken breast, grilled prawns with pesto risotto.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A deliciously fresh and zingy example of Austria's signature grape. An array of ripe fruit on the palate, from fragrant pink grapefruit to lemon zest and freshly squeezed lime, all finished all by a hint of white pepper and chopped basil. Full and rounded in the mouth, making it an excellent partner for food. Try with a grapefruit, cashew nut and rocket salad with sliced avocado and a harissa dressing @wrightwineblog
From the Traisental wine region, Markus Huber Terrassen 2018 Grüner Veltliner is a mouth-watering Gruner sourced from vines between 5 to 80 years for age. Lemon, lime and soft orange aromas on the nose, tangy with bright lemon, green herb, green pea and green plum freshness on the palate. Enjoy now in all of its freshness. Chill and enjoy with a herbed quiche with grilled asparagus and artichokes. - Community Wine Reviews
