From the Vinho Verde wine region, Maria Papoila 2020 is a crisp and zesty blend of Loureiro and Alvarinho wine grapes. Lithe and tangy with bright apple, stone fruit, fine herbs, lemon verbena and fresh mineral flavours on the palate, this youthful white is produced from grapes grown in the granitic soils of northwest Portugal. Chill and enjoy with crab cakes and a lemon aioli.

Loureiro Alvarinho food pairings: grilled shellfish, pan-fried fish, salads, calamari, grilled seafood, pasta Primavera.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Vinho Verde wine region, Maria Papoila 2019 is a dry, medium-bodied Loureiro and Alvarinho white wine blend, crisp and lively on the palate with quince, green herb, lime zest and a long stony mineral and mouth-watering finish. Chill and pour with grilled shellfish and seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
