Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A Chilean Chard with tropical fruit and citrus fragrances. Mouth-watering palate shows tropical guava, light pineapple, lemon and slight mineral, with tropical fruit on the finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I personally enjoyed the flavours more than the aromas in this Chilean Chardonnay. Aromas were a little too flinty but flavours of tropical fruit, fresh cut apple, toffee and the rich palate reformed me. This is a medium(+) bodied Chardonnay with refreshing acidity and a lingering fruit driven finish. Pair this with a creamy pasta sauce, lobster tail, chicken pot pie.
Tasted: February 2016
Produced by Luis Felipe Edwards, this winery is the family's estate by the Pacific Ocean in the Leyda Valley. It's a cool coastal region that creates wines of great freshness and vibrancy. These grapes are hand-picked and fermented with wild indigenous yeasts and no cultured yeast. The wine is first in stainless steel and then new French oak barrels. It undergoes a full malolactic fermentation. - Community Wine Reviews
